Opulence Corporation Inc.
When you use Seifly Rides, you trust us with your information. This notice explains what we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. We recommend reading it in full, but the table of contents below lets you jump to any section.
This notice applies when you use the Seifly Rides app as a Rider requesting trips, or as a Driver providing them. It also applies to Guest Riders who receive a trip requested by someone else's account, and to customers of our physical retail gift card program.
Seifly Rides currently operates in California. As we expand to additional states, this notice will continue to apply to your use of the service wherever it is available. We are a California-based company and this notice is written with California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), specifically in mind.
This notice does not cover data we collect from job applicants, retail store customers using our El Cajon location's own point-of-sale systems, or visitors to our marketing website who do not create an Opulence account — those may be covered by separate notices.
This part describes, in detail: the categories of data we collect, from you and other sources; how we use each category; how our core automated systems (matching, pricing, fraud detection) work; our use of cookies; who we share data with; and how long we keep it.

Seifly Rides relies on automated systems to enable core parts of the service. This section explains how they work and what data they use.
When you request a trip, our dispatch system identifies eligible drivers based on your requested tier, county, proximity, and driver availability, then offers the trip to the nearest eligible driver. Rider ratings are withheld from a driver's offer screen until after the driver accepts, to reduce bias in the matching process.
Fares are calculated using a base fare and per-mile/per-minute rate specific to your selected vehicle tier, plus applicable wait-time or cancellation fees, tolls, and tips. Pricing may vary by time, demand, and location within the bounds of our published fee structure. We do not publicly disclose the exact internal formulas or revenue-split percentages used in this calculation.
We use automated checks to flag unusual account activity, payment anomalies, promotional or gift-card abuse, and suspicious location patterns. Accounts flagged by these systems may have certain features temporarily limited pending manual review.
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes. Approximate retention periods:
| Data category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account information | Life of your account |
| Trip & location data | Life of your account, or up to 7 years where needed for tax, legal, or dispute purposes |
| Driver compliance documents | As required by California TNC regulations, typically the duration of active driver status plus a statutory retention period |
| Payment records | Up to 7 years, for tax and financial compliance |
| Support & claims records | Up to 3 years after resolution |
You may request account deletion by contacting us. We will delete your data except where retention is required for legal, safety, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes — for example, if your account has an unresolved claim, dispute, or suspected fraud.
You can review and update most account information — name, phone number, email, profile photo, and payment method — directly in the app under Settings.
You can control location access through your device settings at any time. Disabling location access will prevent core features, including requesting a trip, from working properly.
You can opt in or out of marketing emails and push notifications at any time through the app's notification settings, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting contact@seifly.app. We will confirm what, if anything, we are required to retain and why.
California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Seifly Rides does not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below — we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Opulence Corporation Inc. is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For any privacy question, request, or concern, contact us at contact@seifly.app.
We use your data where necessary to provide the service you request (fulfilling our agreement with you), to comply with legal obligations such as California TNC regulations, and, in limited cases such as fraud prevention and safety, based on our legitimate business interests, balanced against your privacy.
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect your data. No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Seifly Rides is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this notice as our service evolves, including as we expand to new states, or as required by law. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above. Continued use of Seifly Rides after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
